Dr. Ndidiamaka Amutah-Onukagha, PhD, MPH

Dr. Amutah-Onukagha is a nationally recognized public health evaluator and the CEO and Founder of Amaka Consulting and Evaluation Services, LLC (ACES), a certified minority- and woman-owned public health research and evaluation firm. She leads a team of more than 115 consultants and provides strategic oversight for evaluation engagements with federal, state, nonprofit, and local agencies.

Her evaluation portfolio spans maternal and child health, reproductive health, cancer prevention, and health equity. She has designed and led research and evaluation work for organizations including the American Public Health Association, the Boston Public Health Commission, the March of Dimes, NASTAD, Susan G. Komen, Power to Decide, the National Institute for Children's Health Quality, Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey, the Sisters of Charity Foundation, and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

A leading voice in culturally responsive evaluation, Dr. Amutah-Onukagha authored a textbook on the subject and has published more than 100 manuscripts, 6 book chapters, and an Amazon best-selling book. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Lancet, USA Today, The Boston Globe, TEDx, and MSNBC.

She holds a PhD in Public Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health from the University of Maryland, College Park School of Public Health; an MPH in Maternal and Child Health from The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services; and a BS in Public Health and a BA in Africana Studies from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
